Services
I offer two kinds of healing based on energy: Reiki and Energetic Healing. Reiki is a hands-on clearing and enhancement of energy that helps the body to release stress and to open to healing, and Energetic Healing is a process that involves the physical, mental, and spiritual bodies. It works with blockages in the body, identifying, moving, and re-programming the nervous system to enhance empowerment and open to new opportunities.
RatesMy fee for both forms of therapy is $75 per hour. Arrangements can be made for clients with financial challenges. When undergoing Energetic Healing, I recommend that the client come for an hour every other week. I can see clients at both my Manhattan location as well as my Callicoon, NY studio. I have been on a healing path since I was a child when my mother read me Czech fairy tales. Fairy tales are shamanic hero's journeys, and I knew there was an important message for me in them. It was many years later, after a career in teaching art, that I discovered shamanism, and I realized how fairy tales and shamanism are related. They represent a journey of spiritual self-mastery and discovery. I started a shamanic drumming circle in New Jersey, which I lead for ten years. Over the years I have had an extensive apprenticeship with many healers and shamans. It began with a Shamanic Workshop with the father of modern day shamanism, Michael Harner. Subsequently I studied Soul Retrieval with Christina Pratt; Creating in Dreamtime with Robert Moss; Celtic Shamanism with Tom Cowan; Soul Retrieval and Extraction with Sandra Ingerman In the last ten years I have been studying at the Children of Light Mystery School; I have studied Reiki, Light Ascension and Practitioner Training with Ron Baker and Robert Baker. I am certified as a Reiki Master and a Practitioner. I have been on several spiritual journeys to Egypt and Macchu Picchu. I am also a working artist, working in watercolor, painting, and sculpture. I have written, photographed and published seven children's books about nature: What Do You Do at a Petting Zoo?, Terrific Tails, Outstanding Outsides, What Neat Feet!, Breath-Taking Noses, The Magic Ring, and Pasta Factory. |
